La Casina isn't an apartment, it's a house: two floors just for you, with the kitchen, dining area and panoramic porch downstairs, and the bedroom upstairs, on an open mezzanine under the beams. The double sofa bed in the living room leaves room for another guest if needed. It's the option for anyone who wants to shut their own front door and feel that Asturias is, for a few days, their home. 6 km from Poncebos, where the Ruta del Cares begins, and a 9-minute walk from the centre of Arenas de Cabrales.
Ground floor
A fully equipped kitchen — fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, juicer, toaster and all the kitchenware you need — next to the dining area. The house's only bathroom is also on this floor, with a shower, hairdryer, towels and gel/shampoo dispensers. In the living room, a double sofa bed for extra guests, TV and a large wardrobe.
The mezzanine
The bedroom, with a 150 x 200 cm bed, is on a mezzanine under the timber beams. It's open, with a wooden balustrade looking down to the ground floor, and has no door. Worth bearing in mind if someone will be sleeping on the sofa bed.
The porch
The porch has panoramic views and opens straight off the living room. It's the place for breakfast, or to sit out as the evening comes in.
Free private parking about 50 metres away, with around 20 spaces. A 9-minute walk to the centre of Arenas de Cabrales: cafés, a bakery, bars, restaurants and shops.
